Eye Care Services
Thorough vision and ocular health evaluations for every member of your family — from children to seniors — performed by our independent Doctor of Optometry.
What to Expect
A thorough eye exam at Ewing Optical is far more than a vision check. Our independent Doctor of Optometry evaluates the full health of your eyes — catching problems early, updating your prescription, and screening for systemic diseases that show up in the eyes first.
We measure exactly how well you see at all distances and determine the precise prescription needed to correct it.
A complete evaluation of your cornea, lens, retina, and optic nerve — with optional dilation for a deeper view.
We measure your cornea's curvature and tear film to fit you in the most comfortable, healthy lens for your lifestyle.
Routine exams detect early signs of glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye syndrome.
Types of Exams
We offer several exam types depending on your age, vision needs, and insurance coverage.
Complete ocular health assessment including refraction, with or without dilation. Recommended annually for all adults. Prescription for glasses or contacts provided.
Early detection and correction of vision problems is critical for learning. Our staff makes the experience comfortable and even fun for young patients.
For diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye changes, dry eye, allergies, infections, and eye injuries. Covered by medical insurance.
