Materials We Work With
Different frame materials require different repair techniques. Our opticians know the difference.
Plastic frames require careful heat application to reshape without cracking. Quality varies — we've handled everything from budget acetate to high-end cellulose. DIY attempts often make the damage worse.
Metal repairs require knowledge of the alloy. Titanium, monel, and nickel-coated steel all behave differently under stress. We use appropriate tools for each type.
Drilling, remounting lenses, and replacing chassis components without scratching or cracking — our team has done it thousands of times.
